Sophie's Flower Sampler is a wall-sized quilt pattern combining wool applique and stichery. Anni has used hand-dyed woven wool, linen and thread in Spring colours to create this lovely design which is inspired by samplers of old.

This pattern includes a full size traceable pattern sheet as well as instructions for both methods of applique to use with the wool - a freezer paper method for the scallop border and a double-sided fusible web method for the applique images. Stitches used in the sampler are cross stitch and back stitch.
